We have highly recognised equine vets on our staff with years of experience with equine health. Our vets regularly perform five star vettings in a multitude of yards as well as for private clients. Services Provided
Vetting
The vets at our practice can perform a range of vettings from five star to standard. We also offer the option of xrays, scoping and blood work along with a vetting if the client wishes.
Castrations
We offer castration services at your stables or farm.
Foal Microchipping and Marking
If you own a horse it must be microchipped and must have an official document known as a horse passport. These requirements are under EU Reuglation 504/2008 which, along with later amendments, has been transposed into Irish law. Our vets can travel to your location and insert microchips into your horse and fill out the marking sheet necessary to obtain a horse passport.
Blood Sample Testing
We can take blood samples from the horse and test for a variety of tests in our in house laboratory or if something more specific is required we also offer to send the blood away to specific laboratories for testing for example genetic testing.
Dentistry
Our vets are all experts at looking after your equines teeth weather it is a yearly rasp or an extraction.
Reproductive Services
Our vets are experienced in a number of reproductive services such as: chilled semen AI, investigation of problem mares, mare scanning.
