We have a prescription service in accordance with regulations, and are always keen to know how your animals are doing. We do our best to offer the most current and most effective treatments at this time. Both our hospitals have a shop, which offers any over the counter treatments for large and small animal.
Our dedicated team of vets offer the best possible care 24/7 all year round for our large animal clientele. Along with the routine TB testing schemes, and other governmental schemes, which our vets are all registered and up to date on the latest issues. We also carry our fertility scanning, and are able to treat for various problems at the time of diagnosis. We are also keen on how best to advise herd health issues as well as individual animal needs. Our practice supplies all the necessary treatments for various problems that have been diagnosed. We have a dedicated vet with a specialist interest in pigs and poultry, diagnosing and treating herd and flock problems. We are able to perform ante mortem and post mortem inspections, availing of an in house laboratory, and treat necessary conditions.

TB Testing
The control and ultimate eradication of Bovine Tuberculosis is essential for the well-being and future development of our livestock production for both export and domestic markets. Our vets travel to farms in the surrounding area of our practices and carry out TB testing in accordance with the Department of Agriculture. We use technology with our testing and endeavour to accommodate our clients with testing times and dates.
Bull Fertility Testing
Our vets provide bull fertility testing services and produce fertility certs for our clients.
Blood Sample Testing
Along with facilities on site we offer to send away blood samples to a dedicated lab if more specific testing is required. We take care of all of the administration to provide an efficient service to our clients.

As we are an XL Vets practice we offer the MastiMentor programme to our clients. We send milk samples to be tested for milk sensitivity and develop a targeted treatment plan for the herd.
